Disney's Zootopia has taken the #1 spot for the third straight weekend, with an estimated $37.16 million. The animated family film has made over $593 million worldwide. Deadpool continued to add to its impressive total, coming in at the #5 spot with an estimated $8.01 million. Deadpool has earned $731 million worldwide thus far, but will likely see a substantial dip next weekend with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice on the horizon. The Revenant managed to creep back into the top ten at #10 with an estimated $1.2 million. Leo's masochistic Oscar fulfillment has managed to earn $481 million worldwide.
Against a budget of $13 million, the Christian faith based Miracles from Heaven earned an estimated $14.81 million for the #3 slot. The film will look to add to this total especially with Easter weekend approaching. The other newcomer to the top ten is The Divergent Series: Allegiant, which bombed at $29.02 million. Unfortunately for Lionsgate, The Divergent Series is no Hunger Games, and will not come close to its lofty box office numbers. Lionsgate will be lucky to recoup its production budget of an estimated $110 million.
